Just reading the comments after reading the title, and am truly astonished that there is no Infamous, Resistance, Motorstorm... what exactly is on this list!
Reminds me of when Killzone 2 realeased. I convinced 2 people to get it, and they stopped playing after a while, so I asked them why and they gave me a (surprisingly), long list of issues they didn't like about it, and in hindsight, they were the same issues that were being touted about on the internet forums, and when I looked at their trophy lists, one 'gamer' only played 3 levels, the other just a few hours online! I agree, gow:a is gaming greatness. Games with this much quality is the reason I still love this hobby.
I'm not too far into it either, and totally agree. Definitly not a disapointment for me. Not only are the boss battles very well thought out, the story is great too. A stunning game, IMHO.
Good Killzone reference! Although Killzone does have incredible enemy A.I., It would be a step beyond to have a better hit detection system.

I am only on level 5 and am very impressed ! Brutal kills, awesome sets, very well thought out boss's, awesome sound, great story too. Kratos is BOSS! imho

Everyone seems to forget that the PS3 also has a exclusive component not found on any other console to date that also sets it apart as a true entertainment powerhouse... i.e. the only console with true digital 7.1 surround sound capability. Watching a blockbuster movie or playing Killzone 3 in 7.1 and in 3D is a step beyond imho.
I don't care about sales when I play my, still going strong, 60G PS3 everyday for years, playing great exclusive games, and I wont care about sales when I finally boot up my PS4 and play some more awesome exclusive games. I dont care if sony sells one PS4, as long as the games keep coming. The fact that I know they will is a reason I will feel confident in my purchase.
I guess if I had 30k or more shares in Sony, I would care more, but I don't have any, so I don't care.

Again @edonis... , I have to disagree. When I first got the interest in this 'hobby', I was playing the hardest games available at the time. I dont want new gamers to 'cut their teeth' on weak, casual games. I want nothing but well thought out, excellent games realeased. If it was up to the 'market', our hobby would become so 'milktoast' gamers would be disgusted at every realease.
First the sins of Xbox past are not easily forgiven or forgotten for me. I do not forget the waves of system failures on the Xbox 360, nor the lousy customer support we were given trying to resolve the issues. I hate the " the market dictates " argument I get, mostly from 360 'fanboys', about the gaming hobby of ours! If the market is going to run this hobby more, then don't ever expect another Shadow Of the Collossus or for that matter, any small dev game anytime soon. Is that what we want?
I think us 360 gamers have been saying "wait till E3" for several years now. In my my mind MS doesn't have dirt till they show me games I can only play on the 360/720! Exclusive games matter if MS wants any of MY hard earned dollars!

Because you mentioned the same two game reviews that everyone states when the subject of "edge" reviews being biased comes up is very telling that they are, in fact a site that needs to be severly scrutinized by a gamer who is looking for a truly "non-biased" score. Look at their other scores for ps3 games vs. 360 games. Then come back here and give gamers a reason to trust what edge has to say.

I am impressed with the rhetoric that the sony camp is displaying for sure! Gaming is MY number one focus, always has been, the apps and such is a bonus in my world of adult electronic entertainment!
