Not the point. I'm not doubting the success of mobile.
It doesn't matter how better the graphics. You can have any major franchise name on mobile, like Mass Effect for example, but it won't be as good.
Get it through your heads. A touchscreen alone is extremely limiting for gaming. And this isn't about apps.
That d-pad looks horrible.
But there had to be an ass come out at some point to say the opposite.
It makes you wonder why they show up in articles that talk exclusively about one system that they don't like.
You're totally right. That mobile Mass Effect Infiltrator game is so much better than the console/PC games.
/s
No. If you have PS3 games it's because you have a PS3 to play them on. You're NOT forced to rebuy anything.
""If Microsoft sticks with BC...""
Right, because if Microsoft does BC it will somehow solve your PS3 games problem. /s
There's a new generation console launch about every 6 years. It's called a console cycle, not a "bid to recapture cool".
""you'll notice that the PS4 d-pad has seemingly been redesigned to more closely resemble that of the PS Vita's own version - excellent news for fans of fighting games""
Music to my ears!
Is that pic from 2005?
[edit] Oh it's Monster Hunter. I didn't realize it was just an upscaled version of the Wii game.
It streams Netflix in 1080p. It outputs sound in 7.1 optical and HDMI. It plays Blu-ray movies.
But Sony doesn't constantly tout that. They seem to focus more on gaming overall, whereas Microsoft is really heavy on the "entertainment" part. I think they're using the Xbox to infiltrate different markets with minimal focus on gaming.
Good list. Although why are Mario and Princess Peach so high up? They have the least character development out of all the others on the list.
Not everyone will know, but the target audience WILL.
Makes sense.
You would not consider that next-gen. And the Wii was a GameCube with motion controls and also played GameCube and PS2 games, the same way the Wii U is playing PS3 and 360 games. So how was that next-gen?
Is, it the next generation of Nintendo hardware and successor to the Wii? Yes. But it's not next-gen tech (not sure how many times devs have to repeat themselves).
It plays the same games with similar quality. It all comes down to the games.
Yeah, you sure made that obvious.
They're still talking about the PSN outage which happened 2 years ago.
I think it's about time we start getting characters with hair that doesn't look plastic or straw, especially on female characters.
And better animations too.
Square-Enix has published better games than they have developed this gen.
@slapedurmomsace
Don't be such a fanboy.
@DOMination-
He never even mentioned FF. So your comments makes little sense.
I don't care that it's multiplatform. But to claim that it's better than any MGS game this gen, let alone comparable in the first place, is ridiculous.
Pre-ordering is a good option if your budget is low, since paying for a game over a few months is better than one large payment. A couple of new games will run you $120.
I'll be pre-ordering the PS4 once it's announced and start paying it off, so instead of say $400 at once, I might just pay $100.
So what are you waiting for? The next Xbox? Nothing?
People want next-gen systems for the features and games they will offer, not the sales. Whether it sells more or less doesn't mean it won't be better.
