this has got to be the best gears3 day since it was announced. i guess cliff was pissed at the PR that said the campaign was buggy.

i think the only reason why they released the game was to beat Cata to market.
i hate how people reserve their hate for gear2 even now with most of its online problems have been fixed. i guess once people got fed up with MP they sold their copy and labeled the game a buggy mess that would never be fixed.
yup thats a sound plan. develop a game for $100m (GTA4's budget) and put it on the system the sold a million less units than the other version.

i loved ffxi too, i played it for years but ffxiv just isn't finished yet, the beta needed another few months of testing/refinement in my eyes.

agreed, i was horribly let down with the beta. and being a longtime ffxi player i was so hyped to see my beta email. got in, started to play and quickly found a slow/clunky UI that is even worse than ffxi's. i just hope 6months down the line most of the problems get fixed so i can hop back in
im starting to get sick of betas, publishers need to do their own QA testing instead of us.

i would pick one up if i were you. after installing all my games i was amazed at how quiet the system ran and the improved load times.
hell i would install all my ps3 games too if i could.
everyone is entitled to their opinions but i think he missed out on the amazingly fun Gears1 MP that fallowed release and continued till gears2.
for me anyway, it was the first 360 game that i started to play online and build a good group of friends to play with. before that i would dismiss shooters on consoles as a fad or dumb. today.. its the norm.
for sure, Epic is one of the best in the industry when it comes to supporting their games
