I think Sony and Microsoft are looking to release new consoles on a 3 year basis. They want the phone model of optional tri-annual ugrades.
I would like better triggers, offset sticks, and better share/options buttons.
Move the lightbar or at least let me turn it off.

Nothing cheap about the cost of their hardware or games.
The switch doesn’t compete with xbox and PS4 because it doesn’t fit into the traditional generational lifecycle.
The Switch launch years after Xbox One and PS4 and doesn’t compete with graphical power either.
One the PS5 and Xbox 2 launch next year the Switch will continue to sell with no successor in sight.
