is it opposite day already?
Whats the point? You buy a PS4 you have the exact same PS4 as everyone else. Its not like your gaining any performance over anyone else. Of course EVERYONE will set the options to the best balance between graphics and gameplay. So why not let the developers automatically do it for you? Oh wait, they already do....
There is a huge memory leak in the game atm. Search Google and you'll find tons of threads about it. Rockstar has been pretty silent during the whole thing...
Yet some of you people continue to buy their games...
I received a free copy of Witcher 3 with my new 970. I'm hoping there is a similar deal for Batman come closer to launch. I want to pick up another 970 and to have this thrown in would be icing on the cake !
I don't understand the choice to wait till E3 to show gameplay. They were at the LARGEST gathering of Star Wars fans IN THE WORLD. That was the time to show gameplay or at the very least tease it some. It was a critical mis-step and as a result they are left playing damage control.
Ya'll know if you wait like 1-2 months games drop to like $40 bucks, right?
100% agree. Even though VR has come a long way since the late 80's, it's still some what of a gamble in terms of large scale production. Right now VR's biggest obstacle is winning over the public.
Oculus Rift needs to release something soon to prove they are headed in the right direction and to get the consumer talking about VR again. Its still a very niche thing even among gamers.
If designers used your mentality we would never have any sort of new consumer electronics. Devices come out all the time and are frequently updated and improved over their life time. You can't just sit on a project because you are waiting for the technology to grow and be perfected
The technology grows to meet demand. If VR takes off (even in its infancy), you'll start to see components designed with VR in mind being released and at cheaper prices. You gotta start som...
This whole thing could of been avoided if the just would have RELEASED ACTUAL GAME PLAY ! Its 2015... ain't no one falling for your 'in game graphics' prerendered video..
Averaging 30-60 frames is not ideal. A solid 60fps is what people are shooting for on PC. Anything less is a choppy mess...
Well considering like 1% of people can actually run GTA V maxed out ( all advanced settings and 8x MSAA) without loads of stutter, I think that's the best you're going to get as far as comparison goes...
4 people didn't get the reference... ah that's a shame...
Isn't there an option for offline battles or did I miss read that somewhere? The Battlefront series has always had offline battle modes with bots. Are people up in arms because there isn't a story mode based single player campaign? There never has been.
That doesn't make sense. Both scenarios require you to buy the game. What good is testing the game on mediocre hardware if you are planning to buy better parts? GTA is a great franchise. People don'/t need to 'test drive it' before buying. Its much much a given it will be good.
7 people have poo in their pants. Bottom line PC is about reaching for the max.
Then where is this 'magical' footage ? Seriously, what is the big secret? If you want to generate realy hype, show GP.
you're dangerous...
If you have to gimp the settings that much then why play it on PC at all? Why not just pick it up on one of the 4 systems it was already released for?
So don't buy mods. If you buy them, they will keep charging. Show some control and wait them out. Whats the problem? Yes it sucks for the mod creators, but oh well. We've already lost the battle with DLC because you guys can't control yourselves.
