As long as it's for sure coming and I'll take it as that since there has been no confirmation of it being cancelled then I will continue to be excited for it!
This is actually pretty cool.... Sony is going to deliver on all fronts this gen.
If you want a great VR experience I doubt they can make the hardware at around $200 to the consumer. Don't get me wrong of course that would be nice but highly unrealistic. I'd say $300-$400 is the sweet spot. If you go any lower in price i'd expect a not so good experience based off the cheap hardware alone.
I love this studio they are extremely underrated. I don't care what anyone says although it was short heavenly sword was a really good game and told a great story that was presented in a cool way.
I'm so stoked I got 2 for the Los Angeles one Lucky I saw this as it was announced 2 minutes before I left for work I registered for me and a friend and got the confirmation email :)
I bet the thing they'll be giving away to the attendees is like 6 months or something of PSnow for when it launches this summer.
The way I see it is that the console would be bought anyway.... If you're upset knowing that this happens in this industry a lot then there's no one to blame. That's just the way it is if your upset because a specific game you wanted your console for gets delayed then buy your console the day the game you want comes out.

I hate to hear complaints about delays like making a game is as simple as any other type of medium. It takes a lot of time and effort to make a game that works and is fine tuned to be enjoyable. As a gamer who loves this industry I find it odd that us as a consumer would get upset that a developer delays a game so we can have a more enjoyable experience.
If you get excited because a developer shows a game early in development and then upset because a delay is announced... Si...
Well that sucks but on the flip side doesn't suck... I want this game this year but the extra time will only make the game better. I'm willing to wait for any game if it's going to better the experience.
Can't wait to see the hands on impressions of this game.... Survival horror is my favorite genre hands down and I hope it makes a strong comeback. Nothing imo has really touched the early silent hill games, resident evil, and fatal frame games.
Sony has never let anyone down when it comes to games. The argument that sony doesn't really have money to get some nice third parties isn't really relevant to the issue... They have the most first party studios that consistently put out amazing games. Plus they have a good amount of PS4's out their where it would be completely foolish for third parties to not want to put games out for the platform.

Looks beautiful The first two games never grabbed me I wasn't a fan at all. This one is definitely leaving me intrigued I will pick it up day one this is my last chance for this series.
RAD is entering the big boy console development and they are coming in swinging. This studio has a lot to prove when it comes to creating their own IP and they are no slouch in the visual department. We have not seen enough gameplay to make a judgement yet and i'm sure E3 will be where we get our answer. Based off the atmosphere, visuals, and even the voice acting I'd say that we are in for what could be the next uncharted for Sony.
I really hope these guys make at least one more Motorstorm after this game. With the PS4 hardware I can only imagine what they can pull off..... Motorstorm apocalypse say what you will about that game but it was pretty intense.
I feel that my simple answer of No would just be considered fanboyism. They got the price down to the same point as the superior console hardware wise. There are also no games that interest me in Microsoft's camp. Sunset overdrive is the only exception and even that isn't guaranteed to stay exclusive past the first game. I'm actually glad this game most likely made the transition to the PS4 this studio has only produced high caliber games in my opinion. Both ico and shadow of the colossus are in my top 10 games of all time. I can't wait to see what they were able to pull off with PS4 hardware. The waiting sucks but one thing I know for sure is that the wait will be worth it from this studio.
Microsoft has a lot of catching up to do. Sunset overdrive is a good start but they really need to make sure that they start investing in microsoft owned studios instead of throwing money at third parties trying to get exclusives. To compete with sony you need to have first party games and microsoft still has a ways to go. As of right now third party games look and run better on PS4.

Not trying to post flame bait but I'm not technically impressed with ryse. It looks good but doesn't manage to keep a steady frame rate and can't hit 1080p..... If anything with utilizing the esram they should be able to mange a solid 30fps and hit 1080p no problem while maintaining the current visuals we see in ryse pherhaps a little better.
There is craziness surrounding this title!! Can't wait to play this!
