Is the same as Xbox Live, so it's not like gamers are getting ripped off. It is a must to keep the servers up, and with the game being digital I guess the cost of the game would be less. Overall the consumer wouldn't be getting ripped off.
I do agree about server crashes which could suck, but they do occur with PSN and XBL so it happens even now.
I'm not sure about this either, but I am excited about the possibilities.
This article a few weeks ago saying that GT fans should look at Need For Speed Shift and I get called all sorts of names because I write for HHG, but this guy does it (no offense to the writer) and no real arguments arise...

It's not written by HHG and that I am not a fanboy or looking for hits by writting this article. I just wanted to share my thoughts on the topic. I think it's unfair to judge my story just because of your gripes with other writers.
If you want to call it an expansion than go ahead. It has a 6-7 hour SP campaign and online. It's a disc game. Halo 1/2/3 were all GOTY candidates, so I'm going off their past success on the game. Also when you think AAA titles, Halo is easily in the Top 3.
So when I do an article like this, I'm irresponsible and just wasting everyones time, but when places like 1UP/Gametrailers/Game Informer do it you guys are all over it.
It's an article that you didn't even give the time to read.

Articles similar to this have been posted in the past, where people have questioned Miyamoto and it didn't get near the backlash this article will get because it's HHG.

I never said that this game would be better, but it is going to be in the discussion. Every journalist who has seen it says it is great, and looks amazing. I'm previewing the game, not stating my opinion. I'm getting GT5 when it comes out lol. The studio working on the game has pumped out some great games in the past. This will be a good game. There is also no comparison between this an Racer Pro
This isnt spam or flamebait. I never once said GT5 was going to be bad. I'm just reporting that a lot of people are hyped for Shift, and for good reason. This game wants to be up there with GT5 and be better. Talk to the developers and ask them if they want to be second fiddle to GT5. The article is basically a preview. You guys should read it, if you are interested in racing games

Read around. This game has impressed a lot of journalists. This team has worked on some great racing games in the past, and this game is their baby. They're putting an insane amount of detail and work into the project. This game has been in development for years. It's not like they just started.
It may not be better than GT5, but ya never know. It will still be a competitive game in the market
What market is Shift going after? The driving simulation market. That market is the Gran Turismo market

When I wrote this article I did some quick research for the Wii titles. I was kind of surprised by all the quality titles they are putting out this year. While they may not be the best looking games, alot of them seem to be fun. Games such as MadWorld, The Conduit, Monster Hunter, and Sin and Punishment 2 all look to be a blast to play. Final Fantasy also gives the Wii a title coming from one of the biggest franchises in the industry. Then you throw out there Wii Sports Resort and a big name...
For the people who read the entire article, what did you find wrong? The only opinion stated in the article was the fact I didn't think Heavy Rain deserved so much praise yet. I was basically naming off games throughout most of it

I'm not going to name certain sites, but there are some sites that have said, " There is nothing the 360 can do to match the PS3 this year. The 360 has no good games in 2009."
That motivated me to write the article. It wasn't just small times sites either. Some are very well respected
