I have played endless hours on both and FH2 is in a different league.. Visuals aren't that much worse for an open world racer.

Let's say this slowly - Driveclub is an arcade racer.. no real physics to calculate, no damage, basic calculations for braking/cornering etc, 30fps, invisible walls, very small amount of cars..
You can bounce around driveclub tracks like a kart racer and wait for the rubber banding to kick in and still win the race.. it's for kids basically who are lead by graphics

Yea, driveclub has better weather.. Its a linear 30fps game with no real driving physics?
The other 2 are far better for what they are.. Its like comparing witcher 3 to the order. The order will look better but it pales in comparison on every other aspect
Any game wouldbe difficult if the movement is clunky and awkward. . Doesn't make it a great game? Dark souls and the like just seem to have picked up cult followings..
Bad camera angles also help to amp up difficulty..
I'm not saying it's a bad game but I think it does get scored up because of the developers status among the community
