Not really, people always want more. Better specs, something new to brag about will always be a driving factor.

Something to power Oculus Rift is what I am saying. I can see Oculus and M$ producing a Rift that is a rad green version (the front part anyway).
They will come out and say something along the lines that the current Xbox One is for the casual gamer and the second generation Xbox One is for VR powered gaming. All games (except VR titles) will play on both consoles but if you want VR experiences you will need to go with Xbox One 2G.

I remember seeing the FarCry water back in 2004 on my Nvidia 5700 LE card and was blown away with how good it looked.

Just because Xbox is not smashing it like the PS4 does not mean they are becoming irrelevant. M$ have had their behinds handed to them and for that they have/are becoming more proactive and committed to gaming.
The Xbox feedback program is a good start. The Xbox of today is not like the Xbox that was 1st demoed by that joker Don.
It is less powerful, but that can become irrelevant if M$ keep working on features and services that will not be available on ot...
And BF2 had no single player campaign and that game was great, so great over the course of BF3 and 4 they remastered some of the best maps.
