The only thing you can learn from WAR is Public Quests, which has already been picked up by another couple of MMOs, Champions Online for one. The rest of the game is a state.

Sadly, PC gaming only accounts for around 20% of gamer spending these days. Having said that, I think it's important to keep PC games up to scratch.
In the end, though, I think consoles will do everything PCs will.

As I said before, it's fine on TV and other media - makes the story more interesting in a lot of cases. It's fine in games that tell a story too.
