This happened to me a month ago. I called in to Microsoft and they had already froze my account and credited my bank account. They said it didn't put my credit card info in jeopardy but I left my account frozen and will probably just use points cards. It sucks this stuff happens.
I do blame Sony for there lack of security. They were attacked a month earlier and did not beef up their security. Sites are attacked all the time, but hardly ever to this extreme. It sounds like they were over confident in their security and are paying the price for it now. I can also see how this is like the RROD because it might cost them just as much as it cost Microsoft to clean up this mess.

I know what the ten year cycle means. I just think if you are going to make a product you plan on people using for ten years then it should last for ten years, but I guess I guess i should of learned my lesson with the ps2 went through 4 of those.

If it is suppose to have a ten year life cycle then shouldn't it last for ten years? I have bought 1 xbox 360 and had 2 RROD but was replaced for free both times. So far my little over a year old PS3 has had no problems, but if I do and I hope I don't get the YLOD (knock on wood) I would be a little pissed having to shell out that much cash. With Sony stating it is suppose to have a ten year life cycle I would hope the consoles last more the 2 to 3 years.
They just didn't repackage it into a smaller console like Sony. I have bought one xbox and have had the RROD twice, but MS has always sent me a new one at no cost to me. Now if my PS3 gets the YLOD on me and I have to pay for it I will be pissed. Is it not suppose to have a ten year life cycle?
What about the slot where you plugged in the card and then your 3D glasses. And I think one of the games in 3D was a missile defense game where the missiles flew at you and you shot them with the light gun that was sweet. Loved this console wish I still had it.
Can they fix the issue of freezing with UC2, I am on my second run through and it has been freezing about every six chapters. It is getting a little annoying.
Which is still a good score. Mag is a good game and I agree that when everyone works together it is great. I just wish more people would use mics because when there is no team work it takes something away from the game and it is not as much fun.
It is because of the slow blu-ray drive. I wish they would of done this with Killzone 2 it got a little annoying when playing the game and there would be slight pauses when it had to load more data.
I see your point. If they are going to spend that much time then they should of created a new engine and made it look great. I still want to see it in person before I render my final verdict.
I will judge it when I see it in person, but so far looks pretty good to me. Although I did enjoy KZ2 and it looked great I am not a graphics whore. I just like a good game!

I think if they could put Halo on the Zune that would sell a lot of Zunes.
I love how I have to download every space and then have to let it load to go anywhere, seamless! It is such a pain to turn on my PS3 and start a game and get my friends to join. It is so much easier to wait for home to load, then the space to load and then find someone to play with me.
So I guess Uncharted 3 didn't have any controller lag? Dam those multiplatform games!
