Most of those sales are after it hit $40 bucks or less (took about a month, maybe less). I remember regretting spending $60 for it when 2 weeks later it was already on sale.
That's there at that price? Done.
@Utalken2me
That said, Peace Walker was a PSP exclusive, it was excellent, and it created many of the ideas that are at the core of Metral Gear Solid V (such as building up an army using extracted soldiers).
While hardware can definitely limit what a person can do, a person should not be limited to hardware. I say, let him work on what he wants to work on. If Vita is in the cards, great. If not, my PS4 and Xbone are waiting.
Bloodborne was my favorite gameplay experience this year.
Batman had an epic ending (without really spoiling, it showed you how badguys perceive Batman, and they are scared as hell of him)
Witcher had an epic story in general (I just wish the controls were tighter)
Metal Gear Solid had gameplay that was near perfect, but repetitive, and it needed more signature boss fights
Fallout is a great game, but it's repetitive and the main story is dumb
It's not cool to hate on Assassin's Creed. A lot of people (myself included) are just tired of the formula.
There has been at least 1 Assassin's Creed game for the past 8 or so years, and it's more or less the same thing every year. And sometimes, there are 2 Assassin's Creed games! Like when they had Assassin's Creed 3/Assassin's Creed Vita. And last year when they had 2 games (one for current gen, and one for last gen platforms).
I agree with you. That is definitely how it should be.
For me, it became a grind. It was kind of a "I need to stay 1 step ahead of my friends" thing - or another way to put it - "I don't want to be left behind."
You never want to be the guy hurting the team in a raid because you're not strong enough. Or you can't even get into the raid because you're not high leveled enough. So you put in the hours to make 3 characters and ...
If you are a Best Buy Gamer Club member, you can get this same deal for $42. The Playset goes down to $20, and each of the characters goes down to about $11 each.
I actually really enjoyed Resident Evil 6, and thought that Chris' storyline was powerful and well told.
There's a part early on in the game where you are trapped in a bar with a bunch of strangers holding off wave after wave of zombies, and it felt like a classic zombie moment to me.
Wait wait wait...is this part of the Valkyria Chronicles universe?
In the article, they are remastering Valkyria Chronicles for the PS4? What???
Please bring both games west!
It's not the same as Ray Rice at all. Rousey was at the top of her game. Rice was cut and hasn't played since.
I agree that Rousey's no role model, but neither are many of the athletes we all love. Roethlesburger raped some college girls in a dirty bathroom. Vick fought dogs, and then slammed them around to kill them when they were injured. The list goes on.
I respect the people who are cancelling their pre-orders. They are taking a stand and showing companies they won't accept things like this.
If we, as consumers, don't take these stands, then they will continue to do whatever they want.
The old saying comes to mind - "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."
Soooooo...Bayonetta was okay, but this isn't? Where's the consistency?
There's a reason there's a rating system in place. Let the consumer choose what they want. Don't dictate it for us. sigh
Is it honestly possible NOT to have a bias? Even if you own everything? I have all of the consoles, but I definitely get all multiplatform games on the PS4. Because I think it's better. Because it IS better. ;)
I tried twice to get into Fallout 3. I probably played it a good 10 hours. But neither time could the world hold me or interest me. It wasn't bad - just wasn't for me.
I expected something similar from Fallout 4, but I got it anyway. And honestly, I was sucked in and can't stop playing it. Is there anything I can put my finger on that makes 4 better for me? Not really. But I can say that I definitely like it better.
Don't forget Tittie and 2 different versions of Tracy/Tracey. lol
Can we band together as N4G users and NEVER approve one of these articles again? Pretty please?
If you can get a backlog off of Xbone games, you'd never see the light of day with a PS4.
I kid! I kid! Can't we all just get along? :)
@Flash - agreed. You could probably get Fallout 4 right now, and by the time you're done (depending on how much free time you have to game), Tomb Raider will be discounted.
Can't we just grow up and stop these arguments? I've been gaming since the beginning of video games at home, and I think it's safe to say that we are in a golden age of gaming. Gaming is great no matter what platform you choose.
USB external hard drive support.
I know they currently have it, but you can't install and play games from the external HD, which for me, would be the entire point.
