Finally, this overrated series will come to an end with this.
Everything regarding combat is wonderful. And there’s a lot of difficulty selections.
Everything else? Plot, traversal, writing, pacing, level design, characters…sucks. Hopefully Yakumo will be a better protagonist than wooden Hayabusa much like Nero has been to Dante.
Yet here you are, and many more, flocking to their reviews with extreme celerity as soon as they’re released.
Bet if they gave it a 9 or something they’d be Intelligent Gaming News to you fickle flockers.
Everyone says the same thing about IGN. “IGN isn’t credible. You can’t spell ignorant without ‘IGN’.” Blah blah. People always resort to these attacks whenever games they feel deserve a perfect or high score do not get them.
They say these things, and yet what’s the FIRST site they flock to when the reviews start coming? What’s the site that’s always on peoples’ minds when it comes to reviews? IGN.

That's a shame. At least try it, doesn't cost you anything.
Damn almighty, Nier is like a whore crossing over into everything.
That might be a stretch. The game is pretty average, to me.
Decent and enjoyable game. I do not regret the purchase but, admittedly, the price is off-putting so I will understand if it is skipped over for now.
