When they lower the price to about 150-200€ and extend the battery life to around 8-10 hours then i will get the 3DS.
And no i dont want the 3DS for DS games so the argument that it lasts 8 hours with DS games doesnt affect me at all.
I really believe that the 3D function is a gimmick included in the 3DS to create a wow factor when people see it. Now unless a game is designed to be 3D in the first place it wont add anything to the gameplay. Its just a flashy tech to showoff to your friends so they will rush to the store and buy it.
Just like the OLED screen and graphics that the NGP has will wow people and cause them to buy the unit in stores.

People listen to me and ignore the hermits. We will still have a fantastic game on consoles. Jeez why wont people just accept that Dice cant make Battlefield 3 exactly like the PC version. Just be happy that they are doing all they can to make the console versions look as close to the PC one as possible.
Why do people believe that Nintendo makes perfect handhelds?
Some units are bound to have hardware problems at launch its completly normal for this to happen.
Example:
I had to turn in 2 DSlites because i had problems with the screen with stuck pixels.

The real question isnt if it will fail. We all know that it wont because of the fanbase. But its If it will be as sucessful as the DS?
I believe that due to its high sticker price the 3DS wont sell as many units at launch as the DS. However when Nintendo drops the price it will sell as much or even more than the DS:
I agree in terms of looks. It looks like a DS with a wider top screen and a circle pad slapped on. So some parents may get confused.
LOL imagine if a child asks for the 3DS and his parent get him a regular DS telling him that they both play the same games.
The price is affecting the sales of the console. So i can imagine that in some places it wont sell out. However this wont stop it from being number 1 in the market because the handheld is aimed at casuals and we know how they like Nintendo consoles.

Theres not a huge difference between Gears 2 and Gears 3. For me the biggest change came with the second one when they changed the lighting and art style. Now while i do admit that Gears 3 does look good the engine that it uses is old and it shows in many places.
Gears 3 might not be the most visually impressive title of 2011 but it will be a lot of fun to play which is its most important aspect.
Dominate i dont think they will outsell the 3DS with the NGP. But if they play their cards right they can take a big bit out of nintendos market share.
So which ones are which? Since they stated they have screenshots of both versions.
Region locks suck for handhelds.

They have to have the feature if they are making people pay for XBOXlive. If it does happens then thats great news for 360 owners.

People this is just the first batch of handhelds they are bound to have some problems. Its nothing to worry about when i bought my DSlite at launch i had to change it twice because of stuck pixels.
