I believe that the power of a console does not come from specs. But instead from the devs who makes games for it. And so far the best games (graphically) have been on the PS3. Until 360 devs release a game that surpasses the tech of PS3 games, the PS3 will hold the graphics crown.
But in the end its gameplay that make a game. But graphics help with the immersion factor

loved the article very informative. I found it incredibly interesting the design similaritys between the G90 gpu from Nvidia and the cell broadband engine. Cell is a pretty impressive processor and i am sure the tech will evolve over time.
wow a future handheld by nintendo will beat the wii in terms of processing power. Thats actually pretty cool sort of like having a portable xbob1.5 in your pocket.

They should have done what platinum games did with vanquish. And thats achieve visual parity between the 2 consoles. The PS3 can handle a game like black ops just as well as the 360 can. I blame on the devs for the visual differences between the 2 versions. And if you tell me that isnt possible just look at modern warefare 2 sure the 360 version was superior. But the differences were barely noticable. And yes i know there was a difference of 10fps during some parts of the game but that didnt ...

i just feel bad that not everyone can enjoy the uncharted series. Looks like they will have to buy a PS3 if they want to experience it. And i am not trolling i just wish it was available to everyone
i have a ton of PS3 games to complete. But i spend most of my time on N4G. Kinda strange isnt it. The games i have for the PS3 are incredible. Like Unchated, Uncharted 2, Demon Souls, Super Street Fighter 4, God of War 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resonance of Fate, Killzone 2, Warhawk, Racthett and Clank Tools of Destruction and Resistance Fall of Man. both did well this year. But in terms of games the PS3 was better (for me) this year
i find it interesting how theres a ton of rumors on a price drop recently. Maybe they will drop the price probably before the holidays of 2011
anyways i thought about it a bit and since i am a PS3 only owner (but i used to own a 360 check me out on xboxlive i am Fallendamnation with a gamerscore of over 11000 points so i did invest a lot of time into the 360). Anyways i got rid of my 360 because i prefer PS3 games and the dualshock 3 controller plus the free online over the 360. And i really dont feel the need to own more than one console in this house i get my game fix from my PS3
i know there were many multi plat games that look better than those. Best examples are vanquish and Castlevania and both have been proven to be slightly better on the PS3. I said slightly fanboys which means very little.

stupid article. They should just compare exclusives between the 2. Exclusives are designed to take advantage of the hard ware capabilitys of one console

Congrats to Nintendo for not repeating the Gamecube. Nintendo sure used a cheap strategy to sell all those units. And a mighty profitable one at that.

These guys are exremely confident in the console. Which is a great thing to see in devs. I only wish other devs put the same effort into the PS3 as these guys
Nintendo always gets bashed when it makes games that are suitable for the younger demographic. I mean seriously if they made Metroid have the same ammount of violence as gears of war the press would look at it differently
the extra sharpness is due to the removal of QAA and the incorporation of MLAA

jeez those are some great shots. The PS3 is indeed the most powerful console this gen based on those shots. I havent seen anything on the 360 that looks better than those shots. Is the one with the dragon lair?
