A lot of EA there.
I wonder if they can recoup their investment. Seems pretty risky to make high budget games now, considering the current state of active buyers.
You can't compare PS2 games to PS3 games. PS3 games are more 'alive' in the sense that they are more connected(online play, leader boards) and can grow(add-ons, DLC packs). Not having BC means fragmentation not only amongst the user base but also in your playtime and data. Seriously I'm not even sure to buy PS3 games anymore. Console makers HAVE TO fix the data portability issue now, before advances on the PC side become more viable.
So people outside of the US, pay more and get less.
Do publishers make money out of Vita games? The market seems too small for viability.
No WiFi N? It's 2012!
The idea to decentralize PlayStation is very intriguing.
I like PSN's FB integration. A trophy seems to have more weight to them. Achievement points can get lost.
Classic example how some Japanese companies need to think more about the UX of their games.
Fron what magazine was that image captured from?
Update:Game Informer. I'm definitely buying the new issue through their new iPad app. Nice that people outside the US can easily buy their magazine now.
Why the PS3 can't do cross-game chat http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
This comes back to my last post. Sony needs to consider future features beyond games. Apps, social and media components are becoming increasingly more popular on current platforms. Something that wasn't so 5 years ago when the consoles launched.
I do believe that...
More RAM means better multitasking capabilities. These platforms are not just about gaming anymore. Anticipate future use cases(in-game chat) for greater longevity.
The PlayStation Store could use more work by realising demos for all titles and giving the user a better download history manager.
Wasn't this game pushed to next gen consoles?
Where does this fit with PlayTV and torne?
It's 'Vigil'
Managing game-projects must be really tough. Especially games like Deus Ex and ME.
Strange. Maybe because they think you thought Journey didn't deserve it.
That's why I'm going all digital with Vita games.
But MS still has the new "Titanfall" and logo association with CoD. But I think Sony's diversity in titles will be its strongest asset to counter that.
