I hate how so many people comment on the articles about kinect and just bash it, You dont see us bashing Playstation Move because its really just wii v.2, at least microsoft is doing something revelutionary and completely different then sony and nintendo instead of constantily coping each other
We say in most of the reviews on the internet "it will surely be the best racing game ever made" but you have no idea what happens BEHIND THE CAMERAS. It won't be a total piece of fakeness like NFS or stuff like that. It's a very good game and i admit i will buy it but come on dude you can't call gran turismo "the real driving simulator"! It simply isn't!
Sorry but Ninja Theory is not a terribly large company.Their resources are either devoted to games like enslaved and new devil may cry.
The Playstation 3 architecture is very complex. Getting the know how on their toolkit takes time. Time they simply don't have.
It's all about choosing your battles and Ninja Theory opted for better quality on more platforms.rather than lesser quality on single one platforms.
the cell is a bitch to program for and anyone who knows about programming knows this. PS3 system is the most expensive to develop for and provides the smallest install base. If you want to get upset, blame Sony for always using the most complex and advanced architecture... a great decision in theory, but (sometimes) a pain in the ass in practice.
This is fact that many developers acknowledge. No amount of PS3 flag waving is going to change that, and its not about poor developme...
Uncharted 2 It the most critically acclaimed of the bunch, it has multiplayer, co-op and I can't take of a game that is more easy to market - yet it failed to make an impact and dropped of the NPD for good after one month of sales which weren't extremely good anyway
Why do titles like Gears of War (for some reason the eastiest title to compare to Uncharted) do so much better?

Note for Resistance 3. The reason R2 wasn't as good for me at least was the fact that in R1 you had at all times 30 soldiers following you against 50 chimera. Seeing all your troops die around you gave me the feeling that humanity was being annihilated because I saw it. In R2 not only did they exclude large numbers of troops but they cut out US Rangers.
I am already a big fan of kinect, mainly because I could see myself using Kinect for the menu interaction and being able to access my media without having to stop what I'm doing to grab the remote and change tracks or whatever. I don't think the Kinect will be that great for the games that I enjoy playing, but no one ever said I actually have to use it for games, and I'm sure plenty of other people would enjoy the type of gaming Kinect offers.
kinect will have that wii sports effect where people played it at somebodies house and had to have one. when they go to somebodies house with move they will be like hmm ive already done that with a wii plus they will see how much move will really cost you to get started with everything you might need for a single player game. and move will only have 2 disc games at launch..
The truth is, the 360 has been, and continues to outsell the PS3 in the US.
Yes, worldwide is a different story, but that is not the title of the article.
And if MS is able to get people to buy replacements, good for them. People are still willing to buy them, so they must like the system.
Will PS3 eventually take over? I think no.
Oh, and I own both...I prefer the 360 for games (Xbox Live dominates), and the PS3 for blu-ray ...
