Haha... I really liked this article!!! F-U Roman was so on point. I hope they make GTA: Carcer City (I think they used that as a fictional GTA universe city name on the radio in GTA3...) I imagine/hope it would be an combo of Detroit & Chicago.
That's what happens when you pay advertising money to gaming review sites (pay-ola) then you don't give them money for this game! (fail-ola?)
(Raging online gamer voice):
"EA just got burned!, by their own!, shady business tactics!!!" LMAO
I don't mind the sim/rpg elements for the most part... I'm all for having to put in work for friend/GF benefits & changing your characters physique... the problem is in GTA4 they would lose like status too fast, GTA:SA had it right where it took some time for your character for to lose shape. In IRL if my friend calls to kick it & I say "I'm busy, my bad..." they don't hang up & say thumbs down, jerk!" LOL, they understand I'm busy shooting cops ...
IGN is shady for sure...
Does anyone know what the Sleeping Dogs DLC is? I'm hoping it's the vampire/zombie DLC but from the news I heard on that I didn't see a date attached to it. (Fingers crossed) Now I just gotta tell my friend I need SD back this week! D'oh! (._. )*
I think your fav Bond game depends when you came of age for MP shooters. I remember dropping my very 1st tax return on a N64, 4 controllers & Goldeneye. After that, my mom had to kick my friend's out cuz they wouldn't go home. Before Goldeneye there weren't MP 4 splitscreen shooters like that (or they weren't very good). I think Goldeneye kind of innovated they more complex strategies involved in FPS's. Most FPS's before this were corridor or empty room shootouts. ...
Michael Pachter is the Miss Cleo of gaming...
I think it's funny how soo many ppl think graphics = great games. Variety is the spice of life. I'm all for more competition in the console market. I really hope the Ouya does well forcing the big 3 to step their game up. or bring their prices down. (*cough Sony)
It's the game everybody wants/hopes will die but the fans... Ueda & co. relations with Sony are the equivalent of the NHL lockout, not talking anytime soon... I'll keep the ICO HD Collection so when I have kids & they get old enough to game, maybe they can be saddened as well by the Trans-Siberian hype train that is this game.
Soon as I read the article's title I thought "Mirror's Edge anyone?" I think it's not necessary in a FPS but I feel BF4 (which is made by DICE, same as Mirror's Edge) would be wise to do this or else COD might beat them to it. I think it would really add some more realism in a AAA FPS. If it's not in BF4, I think DICE will get that in soon as they make a Mirror's Edge 2. (EA approve this game NOW!!!)
I read an article a while back where DICE ...
The author of this article should exit the "gaming journalism" business.
This will never come to USA IMO. Here's why?
What if you swallow/ choke on it?
I've asked a girl this very question before LMAO. Unfortunately for me she thought that was a ridiculous suggestion...
This article is poison... Kojima already did make an excellent FPS in MGO. FPS was merely an optional feature due to the player needing to be more aware of their surroundings & to probably show off CQC a lil bit more. I feel like FPS don't accurately translate to the player what is going on around them, not nearly as well as a 3rdPS.
For example, stealth kills in KZ3 had to resort to a couple of canned 3rd person! animations to show what you were doing to the other player wher...
(British Gentleman's voice) Excuse me sir, I couldn't help but notice you've got a bit of article in your comment.
..... ..... .. ....., ...?
No, sir I do not care what it contains I'm just suggesting you get rid of it. It's very bad taste if I do say.
Whoa, California Games was ill... I played it on NES when I was like 9yrs. old(20+yrs. ago!) Me & my babysitters son tried to do flips on the bmx course & hit seagulls with the hackysack LMAO. I didn't have the instruction manual so figuring out what the heck the buttons were doing was half the fun! Oh yea, watching the bmx guy eat dirt for no apparent reason sucked but was hilarious! I made that poor guy crash nasty about a million times! Good ol' days of summer...
Contract-smontract... It's the world interpeting everything to the letter that causes these problems. Sometimes reason needs to win the day. I respect KB (fist bump!) a hell of a lot more than ANYBODY that works @ Sony (coming from a "kinda" PS fanboy here) I can even forgive him for the ad. Forgiving Sony I haven't done for a while (hence the "kinda") cuz of crap like this... I think all companies prefer you hate them but still prefer their products... "Trap ...
No Konami ID, New team & Made in the USA? YES PLEASE!!! Here's why... With a new team I think the new MGO will be getting MGS:GZ player movements/mechanics shipped right from Kojima due to it being still a MGS game, especially if it will be released with MGS:GZ. I think straying from those mechanics will be a recipe for disaster & I think that's obvious even for a new western team. MGS mechanics/movement is what made MGO stand out from all other online MP shooters. I think the...
Resident Evil and integrity?
Oh, you beat me to it...
Man... FUNK THAT!!!
I don't care if I'm rich, poor, don't have thumbs or live underwater! There's always more games than I got money for & you know MastaPiff is getting his game on regardless. The game I pirate today might be the sequel I buy tomorrow, that probably wouldn't happen if I couldn't get my PROPER sneak peek. Game publishers don't just give all their ridiculous profits to the developer that created that amazing piece of code. They g...
From what I know about R*, having seen how they handle gamers concerns/comments on their work before it's released, they usually don't do any thing toe appease angry fans/detractors. They tend to let their work speak for itself (when it sells like hotcakes) which they rightly should IMO... I don't always agree with how they handle things, I give them credit for standing up for how they operate as opposed to some companies ( *Cough: Capcom) who try to make "every angry gamer&q...
