I love me some FF, but you know, in my life, and i say this truthfully, i have never been as blown away by a games graphics and sheer technical excellence as i have been by Uncharted 2. And this is just by looking at screenshots.

Max Payne 1 and 2, for me, have been two of the greatest gaming experience Ive ever had.
Such style and intensity, these games where true gems!
to me this is hands down the best looking game on any console to date.
Id say it looks tons better than crysis, and any other game ive seen recently, even better than killzone 2...
id rather buy a 10gb ps3 at 299, then pay 399 for 80gb and 2 old games.
Sure, they're great entry titles for newbies, but i think the problem with the ps3 is the price, not the "lack of games"
just lower the damn price, thats all they gotta do, and bring the 160gb ps3 to 399 and bundle it with KZ2...then they can go take a nap for a year.
if this is true then you can stop expecting a price drop this month.
Unless Sony brings back the 40gb ps3 at 299, there's absolutely no way a price drop is happening.
Think about it....what else are they gonna do? an 80gb ps3 at 299 would be stupid because the price of the two games combined is still NOT 100 dollars.
And what about the 160gb model? 399 with no uncharted?

you know, the funny thing is i know i should wait...Im not the materialistic type, but truth is, I use the ps3 for so much more than gaming, that its difficult to wait.
In regards to your analysis of why the us economy is the way it is...I believe its much more complicated than a simple, save your money till all gets well.
Saving your money and not spending it is in fact part of the problem, not the solution.

The game looks like battlefield, it is nowhere near the quality of killzone or crysis.
