Dude it's a portable home console, that alone makes it obvious it will be a little expensive and a little lacking on power, if not it would be $500 USD or something... for me the capability of playing my home games on the go is worth the $300 USD.
720p on TV??? if that's true that sucks s:
That's kind of true, we have yet to see that kind of game on Switch, guess we just have to wait and see.
It gives me more of a wii vibe with that 1-2-switch "game".
Is it really that underpowered? Games like the new mario look like an xbox one game at 900p. But we won't know untill someone tears it appart to see what's inside xD
Well I hope it has a lot, and I mean A F*KING LOT of secret caves and holes and stuff like that, just like oot, secret passages, treasure chests with prices that are not rupees, etc, just things to find by accident while exploring... That's one aspect that made me love oot back when it came out.
That"s a great ammoint of time, now if only the system itself cojld at least last 5 hours on the most taxing games...
And people wonder why it's only 900p on Switch, with a world this gigantic and all the physics at work and being a port, not made from scratch specifically for the Switch, it is a very taxing game for the system. As long as they keep a steady 30fps I'm good, for this kind of game. Mario Kart and Smash must be 1080p 60fps.
Any word on how long will the joycon's battery life be while playing on TV mode?
You are such an ignorant person. Zelda BOTW hasn't been cancelled for the WiiU, they have never said that. Also, just because a game is cel shaded it doesn't mean it's not taxing on the system, it can hide polygons and some other "ugly" looking things better than a realistic art style, but cel shading id actually just as taxing on the system.
They'll announce ES6 very near to release just as they did with FO4.
Title makes it sound as if it was a fact, when in reality it's just another rumor...
Franchise fatigue? on a franchise that launches a main game every 6 years? Really? You are joking right?
500 gb werent ebough on regular ps4, 1TB obviously won't be enough on ps4 pro. For me it will reach max capacity at around 4 months.
If it is a portable that is powerwise between Wii U and PS4 and can be hooked to a TV for home gaming, then I will buy it without thinking twice! But if it is just a home console.... Then it may be the first nintendo home console I don't buy :/
This exactly, if your budget is of $400 USD then just buy a PS4, that's the best performance you'll get for that price, if you are going to build a gaming pc then invest money on it so you can get all the advantages a pc should have over a console.
Waaay longer than microsoft, and like 10 years longer than sony.
Looks pretty good, but I'm not gonna buy it until there's a game that looks or plays significantly different on this than on my regular ps4, or a game that for some reason is exclusive to ps4 pro and is a "must buy game"... I can't even take advantage of the 4k res, because I don't have a 4k tv...
Have you even read the article? It states it is a preorder bonus but that it will be available for everyone later.
The memory card should not be used in price comparisons because it is not needed, the games are on cartridges and dont need to be installed like ps4 and xbox one.
