Any Magic player that knows the game knows that there are certain decks in Standard that are just not viable to play right now. Using pre-made decks eliminates that problem.
That aside, the other online options for playing Magic are pretty terrible. Duels of the Planeswalkers does its job and does it well.
I actually enjoy the fact that you can't build your own deck. Keeps it fair, almost in all situations.
