I agree,Blu-ray will win the format war,and PS3 will win the console war.PS3 & Blu-ray go hand in hand.
PS3 BR drive is as fast if not faster than X360 DVD drive.As once games exceed 4.7Gb in size and start comin on DL DVD disc's,X360 only read's them at x8 speed(not x12,that's only for SL DVD).Also PS3 having a hard drive as standard will make PS3 faster still.
They are new look at the date.
So is advertising X360 as Nex Gen(when it clearly is'nt).Loads of add-ons are need to get X360 upto the same specs as PS3.Sony was merely pointing out that once u spend on the extra's for X360,u could have had a PS3 for less that offers more features for no extra's on top of the PS3 box price.

Sony has given a choice where u can use any make or model drive with PS3,making it cheap to get 100Gb+ drives.M$ is just a rip off charging $100 for a 20Gb drive,so I bet this 100Gb drive is another rip off price.

If this were true the import market would be huge.Seen as the PS3 games have no region codes.As games would be cheaper in the US or Jap markets.And we all know that Sony don't like importers.

Blu-ray media is been sold as a mass storage.So having Blu-ray burners out first for PC's is a good thing.Blu-ray is way ahead of HD-DVD in alot of things.
Once they see the title start to sell well elsewhere,I bet they will re-think there stupid decision.This title is a huge PS2 Xmas hit in the making.
