It's nothing - just imagine what it must be like on the other side of the fence constantly hearing how all you favorite multiplatform games are somewhat better on the other system be it more detail, better lighting, higher resolution or a better framerate :)
While all the Sony fans are having a big circle jerk off over the "advantage" of Blu-Ray they totally missed the quote from Carmack when he says "that from id's point of view, 360's hardware is superior to PS3's" - I wanna hear some opinions about that :).
He also confirmed the 360 is the better hardware.
Tough sh!t. 360 has more powerful hardware http://www.1up.com/do/blogE... and PS 3 has bigger optical storage. 360's solution to it's problem will be fixed this fall with new dashboard update allowing to install complete games on HDD. How is Sony going to fix it's less capable hardware ?? They can't hahaha YOU ARE STUCK WITH IT ! Dream on :)

Let's not forget that this fall 360 will be able to install the games onto the HDD so if MS loosens up the royalty per disc BS we might just get RAGE on 3-4 dvd's with the best console game performance on the superior hardware (360) - see quote.

What the hell are you blabling about ?? No prone has nothing to do with consoles or the game pad especially.COD 4 has prone, BFBC developers decided against prone as it would make the snipers invisible and affect the ballance of the gameplay. No prone decisions are based purely on gameplay and have nothing to do with controls.
Because that's how Sony rolls these days - selling promises, hype and trojans. Too bad for the peeps that fell for it.

Beyond this holiday season - knowing sony this means a 1 1/2 to 2 years from now IF we are lucky.

Someone struck a nerve there.. eh? Sure it seems to be playing smooth - you have a ps3 after all and you should be used to "variable" frame rate by now LOL.
I don't think that this is a wide spread issue. Me and 5 of my buddies play all the time and we had ZERO issues. As a matter of fact there is no lag at all. Sucks for the few unfortunate but my experience have been very good so far.
If you have a kids and they are running around while you are playing you might want to use those options to turn it down a notch :)
