I once was at a magazine rack checking out a Nintendo article when a young boy went out of his way to point out that,(in his opinion), the company was doing poorly.
I do feel sorry for the state of things in our hobby.
Don't get me wrong, I love throwing the odd dig..
but all in good fun :)

You have a very good point.
At the same time though, I really do consider we need different facets of gaming machines available to encourage growth in our hobby.
If they all were relatively the same console tech wise, I think it would be a shame..
It would come down to buying the console with the most imaginative, colorful and fun exclusives available and that would be just unfair..
