If you think switching to a ps4 for improved hardware will significantly change the way your games play, you're setting yourself up for some serious disappointment . I've had xbox since day one and ps4 for a year as of yesterday actually and the only factors that go into which console I'm buying a game for is whether I'll be focusing on SP or MP more. (Xbox gets mp gsmes, ps gets sp games)

It sold 1m in 12 days so 731k for a week would probably be on pace for the total sales. Unless it doesn't include digital and the sales slowed down big time after the first week

Bloodbornes still a brand new IP with a ton of hype surrounding it (deservedly so, one of my top 3 games this gen), I just expected it to help move a bunch of consoles. I mean even the show was on the list instead of bloodborne, that in it self is pretty surpring.
I don't think dark souls was swaying people to xbox vs playstation. Bloodborne is the title to sway people right now and it doesn't seem like it helped outside of the first week or so.

Sonys been releasing games though. It release bloodborne and the show in the last week or so of march. It's very surprising seeing xbox sell more after that

If your connection can't handle a online game or frequently goes out, then MP only games may not be for you. That doesn't mean the launch price should be any less than other games.

Oh okay, MS is so much worse since playstation didn't put a logo on it LOL. Most likely because xbox has advertising rights and PS cant. I'm not saying one is worse than the other, my point is both are guilty while we have people running wild freaking out about how MS does it. I really don't even see what the big deal about all of this is.
So because your Internet might go out the game shouldn't be worth $60? I don't really agree with that at all. Maybe they aren't personally for you, but someone's Internet connection shouldn't decide the value of a game. Servers are very stable this day in age too, outside of maybe launch night.
I judge a games value based off what I'll get out of it. A SP only game with multiple side quest, story lines, etc I have no problem paying full price for while...

I don't think it hurt it. The game sold great and had a huge marketing campaign which playststion only owners undoubtably saw. I don't think many people will pass on a great game because they didn't get to play the first one. If anything, a lot of ps owners were probably itching to play it and will be really excited for the next one.
Titanfall is one of the best MP experiences this gen as far as gameplay goes. All it needed was more content to keep people playing which I'm sure TF2 will have.
