the ps4 is still meant to always be online, its just not required. they've got a share button right on the controller for Christ sake. the future of gaming will be online so it'd be stupid of sony not to be prepared for it. just look at the games, a lot of them are gonna require you to be online in the next couple years.
i doubt they're actually working on building the console this soon but I'm sure they're throwing around ideas all the time.
yeah the order looks great I'm just hoping it doesn't turn out really linear. the last gameplay i saw kinda looked like it but its too early to tell. ill be picking it up either way I'm sure lol
destiny looks great, another one of my most anticipated too. I'm excited to see what the multiplayer looks like at e3.

messaging on xbox is a complete pain. i couldn't imagine it with that connection lol. the first time i open messages it takes about 30 seconds for some reason, but after the first time it speeds up a little.
how longs it take you to install a game?

do the tiniest differences in graphics really mean that much to you guys? i mean these all look so similar, you guys are nit picking the smallest things to prove your point. when you have to tell someone to go to a specific part of a clip and pause it, i think its safe to say they're close enough. just play the games and enjoy them.

thats weird because when i first got the x1 i was running between 1-3 mbps until i upgraded the internet and its always worked fine. the only major difference i saw were the game installs. they'd take forever before i upgraded.
you're right though the sony menu is very smooth with or without a good internet. i prefer the x1 style menu, but sonys is nice a simple if you like it like that.

i actually do have both and I've been playing the xbox considerably more. the "huge" power difference you guys claim doesn't make much of a difference since graphics are nearly identical.

Damned if you do, damned if you dont. MS saw the backlash from the policies so they changed it and get hated on for changing it. They bundled the kinect, see people complaining, unbundled it, and the same people complained

if you want a next gen console go with the xbox and pick up the ps4 at the end of the year. I've had the xbox since day one and the ps4 for 2-3 weeks and i still play the xbox more. not that the ps4 is bad, theres just a larger variety of games on x1 right now. i know the fanboys will jump on me for saying that but indies dont interest me so Ive just been playing the show and infamous
