Battlefield 2 gives me a sort of nostalgia that makes me want to go back to playing it and reliving all those great memories like flying a jet with a flight stick.
i hope BF3 offers the same level of nostalgia because i just dont get that with BC2, it got boring fast because it didnt really engage me as a gamer but BF2 was probably the best FPS ever made!
Im still really on the fence about this game, Im really disliking how OP the marksman class is to all the others or well the way in which it is being used.
For example I dont know about you guys but im getting alot of cloak campers waiting around corners with the SMG or to melee you.
The game is fun apart from that but the current map isnt all that great...it just feels like it has 3 bottlenecks across the middle and the helghast usually have about 4 markmen ...
I love the douchebag nerd brigade that all hump each other on this website, just because i said the game WONT look as good as screenshots in a magazine which IT WILL NOT and killzone fanboy? yeah your another assuming prick, the game is awful I have the beta and it looks great graphically but plays like COD with slow movements.

It requires you to use your brain because you have to micro manage various different things such as your energy, ammunition (in which you are limited) and your movement and position across the map since it incorprates a parkour feel to the movement.
you cant do fine running around and gunning, you obviously never played a good player at all on the demo because if you ran around gunning you would have been getting shot from every angle possible.

Its the first FPS in years on console that requires you to use your brain, so noobs will definetely not be jumping ship from COD just yet.

Its a shame that the quality of those games experiences has slipped over time well since PS2 and xbox days, i.e MGS1,2,3 Resident Evil series, etc

It was utter turd compared to the old games but was refreshing compared to the other games out at the time, it actually took a bit of skill and had a learning curve.
THAT I appreciatted and it probably makes me think it is a better game than i should.
