Its looking really nice on PS3, "Sub TRUE HD" or not.
Even from that low quality video you can tell the game looks amazing, the detail, the textures, the lighting.....everything is gorgeous and this is on 4 year old console hardware? really awesome!
Why are people so intent on hating the 360 or PS3? the 360 IMO has seen its day and has produced some great memorable games. The PS3 is near the end to with it being maxed out with Killzone 3.

Only thing I can pick out that I dont really like is the Bine Breaking Gameplay, like the "X ray" things, dont get m wrong it looks Awesome!!
But the thing that gets me is the guy just got his legs fractured with two blades and got his jaw wiped out by a huge knee to the face but then at the end of the video springs back up as if nothing happened?
I would have though at the least it would have slowed his character down, im not dissing the game it ...

Ive noticed the same trend you have but only for certain games and certain game genres.
A prime Example of this is the Splinter Cell Series.
If you look at how the series changed from "Splinter Cell" to "Splinter Cell: Double Agent" you will notice how the gameplay became deeper and how we were allowed to interact more with the Game environment and the Game NPCs.

Well its the Xbox consoles only Hardcore game besides Froza 4 coming out.
Personally as a big fan of the close up intense shotgun battles of Gears 1 and an avid "disliker" of Gears 2 im waiting til the beta to make up my mind.
If this fails the last thing il be playing on 360 is Crysis 2 and Homefront for the sake of my gaming community being on there.
After that its full transition onto PC gaming and picking up A few nice PS3 ex...

Gameplay, this game looks and at least the multiplayer plays really well. its amazing how everyone judges a pre release game on graphics alone, Do we really have such a shallow gaming community?
Im not sure about the whole not being able to strafe around the arena and not being able to switch between fighting styles, and aswell how the "X-ray" breaking of bones doesnt seem to affect the gameplay at all.
Apart from that it looks awesome.
Moral of the story, Dont let kids play games like "Gears of War" and more importantly if your a parent with any kind of brain power, you will test something before you let your child on it I.E Xbox live, PSN.

Im waiting to play it, Then il form my own opinion of it. I never trust these game reviewers since they more often than not give their own opinions rather than reviewing the game with subjective points.

There was a closed beta, I was in it, so they have taken feedback from that but id like to see how far they have progessed on from the alpha version.
Welllllll Il enjoy all those exclusives AND Forza 4 AND Gears of War 3 aswell as my Steam Library......
