From my point of view as an old school "core" (hate that term) they have nothing except Gears 3.
Forza 4 wont be worth a buy, it will just be Forza 3 with an expansion pack bolted on.
Codename Kingdoms is made by Crytek and if Crysis 2 is anything to go by it will just be another forgettable single player experience with a lackluster multiplayer if it even has one.

Consoles (particulary xbox & multiplats) have just become the kids corner for gaming recently, everything has been simplified, "streamlined" aka all depth ripped right out of the game.

These people are not "gamers" they strike me as the modern day COD generation gamers.

Dont normally say that but its so appropriatte here, so your saying they should make the game easier for you just because you arent as good as other people?
Well if it bothers you so much that other people are better at the game put more time into getting better.
If you dont have the time then accept the fact that you wont be good because of that and just have fun.
high Moon Studios behind it, it has promise! If it plays like War for cybertron it will be worth a buy for any transformer fan and any fan of 3rd person shooters

Tech Wise, Graphics & Sound it has gotten better.
Gameplay, longevity & fun wise has it? no it got worse.
The only games this Gen that have really stood out in depth and that have been advancing(for the most part) have been RPGs.
apart from a boost in graphics and sound not much else has followed, we have seen little innovation.
The amount of COD clones has been apparent.

Im getting kind of sick of hearing that phrase if im honest with my opinion.
BF3 in terms of graphics, physics etc so far looks next gen but il hold my tongue until we see some actual non linear stage demos (hopefully at E3).
RAGE looks like an enjoyable game from short segements weve seen so far but like so many other hyped games it could fall flat of some peoples expectations.
