I realize that this is one person stating an opinion, so here is MY opinion, (funny enough two of them are made by the same studio)
1. The Last of Us
Not only did this game manage to live up to the unbelievable hype surrounding it, it was actually BETTER than the hype claimed.
2. Batman Arkham City
If you were to remove all the elements of Batman, the Arkham series would still be an amazing series of games.
3. Uncharted 2
I know this is a random shot in the dark, but does anybody else hope that Rocksteady announces a Superman game? Or at least whatever project they are currently working on.
Why is X-23 on the list, yet Wonder Woman, THE ultimate bad ass female fighter,(since they're including comic characters)is not?
@xYakuzaz
There is now a combination of Mt.Dew and snot all over my computer screen and my chocolate pie!
DAMN YOU!(I actually mean Bravo)
Don't like the blue cases, but this is coming from a guy who wishes they would go back to the PS1 cases. No, NOT the ones that were the size of a CD case, but the original PS1 cases.
However, at the end of the day, does it really matter what the case looks like?
Wow! That list was complete crap. No Doomsday, Superman, Batman, or Grundy?
Agreed. Show me someone who says they don't like Nate after playing one hour of any of the games, and I'll show you a liar.
Article was nothing more than the writer saying, "look at me, I know obscure DC characters." Not even considering that there are more popular characters that would better fit anything that list has to offer. Except Mxyzptlk.
You say Lobo is a horrible choice and then ask for Arsenal and The Question? You do see the stupidity right?
Booster Gold and Blue Beetle could work as individual characters, though there are much better choices.
Zatanna OR Dr. Fate, not both. I prefer Zatanna.
Anybody else feel that this game will be a mediocre game at best but still incredibly enjoyable due to the character and humor?
Can't wait to play it.
NO MORE BATMAN CHARACTERS!!!! Replace Batwoman with Martian Manhunter and Batgirl with Super/Power Girl. Other than that, good list.
All of those would be bad choices, except Mark Wahlberg who would be a terrible choice. If Nolan North isn't going to do it, then it should be Johnny Knoxville. After all, Knoxville was one of the main inspirations for the character.
EVERYONE is greater than Apache Chief.
Adam Baldwin has never been Batman. It was his brother William, and he wasn't that good. Peter Weller was terrible, but then so was TDKR. Bruce Greenwood is pretty good, but I doubt they'll use him due to the same reason they didn't use Conroy.
I'm open to new people voicing Batman, but that doesn't change the fact that Kevin Conroy IS Batman. His voice has become nearly as iconic as the character. When I read Batman comics, it's his voice I hear when ...
On that list, there are only 2 maybe 3 characters that could bring something unique to the series or not be outclassed for various reasons by other characters.
Giganta>Apache Chief
Catwoman is more popular than Cheetah.
Beast Boy/Vixen>Animal Man
NO Watchmen characters.(though I'd accept Comedian since he's actually a good character)
Zatanna/Dr.Fate>Constantin e
NO Watchmen characters.
Metallo>Brainiac, give...
Power Girl would be just as good, and Supergirl could just be am alternate costume, or Power Girl could be an alternate costume for Supergirl. Either way, I'm happy.
Supergirl would be cool, but the other characters would either not translate well to a fighting game, or the powers would best suit other, better choices.
As an example Deadman would not translate very well to a FG. If you wanted to build a move-set around intangibility, then Martian Manhunter would be a far better choice. Constantine's magic potential would be better used on Zatanna or Dr.Fate.
As for Rorshach, if we were to get a Watchmen character, can...
Wait, God of War is considered challenging? REALLY!? After how easy GOW was, I played all the rest on hard on my first playthrough, and still didn't find them very challenging.
Yeah that was an epic fight. Personally, I felt all the boss fights were pretty bad ass. It's just that Berial stood out more, due to his appearance and the setting.
First thing they need to do is kill Chris Redfield. RE6 was no where near as bad as people make it out to be. Take the control set up from RE6, add the survival elements from The Last of Us, and BAM!! RE7.
