Well we knew from the beginning of the year that it would be a sh*t storm. The hype was justified!
Very true. A game like Dead Space could easily get away with a steady 30fps at 1080p. It's more of a cinematic experience. Something like Battlefield or COD seems to benefit from 60fps.
This looks so amazing I shed a tear watching.
Yup and if you ask me, everything there justifies the extra $100.
If they didn't have faith in their product they would've just had a conference and not have allowed to be games playable at Gamescom.
There will be more than enough excitement in the huge stream of information flowing around the web in the days to come. I don't see a reason for Microsoft to have a conference in the position they're in now. Because of complainers such as yourself, they have decided to let the games speak for themselves.
People seem to want choice and if you did your research you would see that you have the option of paying for the game as a whole and not just individual characters.
I think it's time for some people to grow up. If a company does something you aren't happy with then speak out. When they change it, be happy and move on. Enough of this crying and wining about how microsoft tried to screw the consumer. Get over yourselves. They are a business and aren't here wipe your a$$.
I think the xbox 1 most likely can run COD at 1080p 60fps. Infinity ward just doesn't have the time with all the crunching to figure the esram right now. Same with dice and bf4. Games like Forza 5 or Ryse at 900p are clear examples of studios who figured out how to work around the esram limitations early on. This is my guess.
