I LOL'd.
Thanks for reading the title of "Recently Hyped". The article had nothing to do with "followings" or how "good/bad" the game was, simply media coverage. If you had read the description you would have seen "here are 10 recent games we got super hyped about, but were out of the headlines before we could even finish them."
Never does it say that they were dropped by gamers, simply the news.
I'm sure there's someone out there who thought was the greatest thing ever...and killed Halo.
Seriously, is anyone up for helping me fund a Kat Dennings cosplay photo session of her as Tifa?
Kratos is a decent #1 pick, I can see some people not liking many of the others, but you can never please everyone with these lists. Nice organization and a clean read overall. :-)
I don't think any of the developers/publishers pushing out the "not-up-to-par" multiplayer games expect their title to be the next Halo or Call of Duty, but they see it as a an extra incentive for gamers to buy their product. And in many cases it is.
This is so true, you see articles proclaiming GTA causes violence, but do these girly games turn young girls even more self-conscious? Probably so. Great read.
Not the slow-down boots! Anything but the slow-down boots!!!
They're grrrrrrrrreat!
Wait, is that the right cereal? >_>
I think they were trying to say product placements are illegal. Don't know much about the law behind it. Although here in the states, EVERY show has some kind of product placement. Some movies are even built around commercial advertising.
It's been picked up by tons of sources, a quick search should clear up any doubt. :-)
I couldn't believe the level of difference between these games either. It looks like the PS3 version isn't even in HD.
Ughh…they already ruined the Fatal Fury/King of Fighters series with horrible anime movies. I’m interested in Bioshock and MGS, but Gears of War will probably be crap.
Very true! As someone who's played on XBL for over 4 years, I can tell you things didn't start out smooth and they still have their own problems (terrible support, hackers, host booters). PSN is new and with time they will add features missing and correct past mistakes.
Online gaming can be a buzz kill when playing in public matches. I still will always prefer LAN over online, but the ability to play instantly with friends from all over is hard to hate.
So DSiWare will be downloadable content over WiFi or what?
Let's not let innovation ruin what could have been awesome gameplay. Adding new things to make a game stand out is fine (as long as it doesn't harm a game's potential).
I can't wait to play RE5's mercenary mode (especially with a friend over online co-op).
Sega just had really bad timing in everything. That and poor business decisions.
Indeed. For shame...
