So youre saying, accessing the hard drive for data..while the HDD is being used to load lighting, textures, and any other number of equations, is just as efficient as streaming info from two separate locations? My friend they seem to have you hook line and sinker.
By this logic, wouldn't it be cheaper for MS to just install a second hard drive for this purpose? Seems it would accomplish the same thing, if it was programed to work.
I'm right there with you. PC seems to have its own social flow of gaming, based on event sales and mod releases. In contrast console is what is commercially popular at the time. I think with the lack of self in the console.....its kinda like going to play ground knowing everyone is going to be playing kickball or swinging.

Windows 8 comes with windows defender....as long as microsoft doesnt exclude it for the console. They've done worse...like removing media player for windows 8 and charging 10 dollars to get it back.

Really? has is this a mention-able feature. My fricken 4 year old tv has four HDMI ports. This feature doesnt save you anything beside changing the source on your tv. OMG....ugh why must push a button.

You missed the point entirely. Microsoft fumbled through the entire showing. They didn't even have their games running on an xbox one, it was a PC. Please name one xbox game that was played on an xbox that had a gentleman holding the controller and doing as he wanted.
Sony actually had games...not just videos of games. They also spent more time revealing their exclusives and didnt run away from them by cramming multiplat videos down our throats. If...

They are not giving you an option :/ they are giving you an alternative way of viewing your cable box menu. You still need to pay your cable provider for the service and cable box.
Trust me, if MS cared about you internet caps, the console would not require an internet connection.
The Fact that you have to hook your cable box to your xbox one seems redundant. I think this is a ploy by Microsoft and the cable companies to regain lost ground to the streaming providers.
Cable needs to die. In most regions with renters, its a monopoly. I would rather pay for internet, subscribe to a streaming network and choice what to watch then pay an arm and a leg for being bombarded by commercials and price increases.

I think you are having trouble understanding how frame rate and refresh rates are relevant to rendering a 3d image. The PS3 does 3d but the tv must be able to recieve each 60hz frame(60 hz being max refresh rate of 60 fps) hence why 3d tvs are 120hz but, not able to run at 120 fps. It is merely to smooth (motion plus) or render frames for 3d.

The only reason I still have a console is because thats where I started and the exclusives.
My high end PC and the PS4 is all I'll ever need. So far xbox one is like watching the special Olympics and seeing they added a hurdle race. Really :0 microsoft is adding risk to an other wise simple and gratifying experience.
