"The PS2 had a year headstart on the XBOX 1 and look what it brought them. System first out, largest installed base, most 3rd party (exclusive) support. Well damn that's what's happening to the 360 now!"
You are strongly mistaken, just because sony did it doesnt mean microsoft will accomplish the same.
And with a 30% failure rate the consoles wont last long...
he never said you couldnt
you can convert while streaming with tversity but having it take up little memory on the harddrive while still playing in beautiful quality is a blessing to have.
I think he was just trying to make a funny pun, if you dont see it go away.
wouldnt that also mean that we might be seeing divx support around the same time?
pwnt lol
"adding functionality that lets its users easily watch illegal video content?"
no matter what they do people will still watch illegal content, and listen to illegal music downloads. This just cut downs on the steps you have to take to be able to watch it on your hdtv, and also greatly lessens the space the files take up on your harddrive, its a win win for everyone.
rofl, the ps3 basher doesnt know what dvix is, its a codec which plays avi and other video files. If youve ever been to europe, or just about any other country in the world you would know this.
actually the devs of GOW have said they pushed the system to its limits.
why dont they just sign with VLC media player, it plays everything. They probably dont own any rights to any of the formats they use tho.
Well I dont see as much benefit in owning a pc/xbox360 as there is if you own a ps3/pc. I own a ps3, pc and a 360 but i would be playing the same exact games if I only owned a pc and a ps3...
They want to find out how many people at the booth own/dont own ps3s, and which will buy a ps3, so that they can use that ratio to compare to the general population that owns a ps3 in japan to ultimatly have a rough estimate of how many copies they will sell in that region. IMO
i actually think the black one with white buttons and analogs would be nice!
your right it is toshibas format but microsoft is their biggest "supporter". And really they are only supporting it so that bluray didnt take over right away which would make the ps3 the #1 choice to buy for all HD movie needs. Thats what I think.
If MS didnt buy paramount out as a timed HD-DVD supporter then this war would have been over by now... but i think by next year they will be allowed to produce movies on bluray as well and then it should all be over.
i like what you did there, very funny...
xbox fanboys are really hoping for mgs4
I agree with you
Thats good news for microsoft but bad news for 33% of the people in japan that actually bought the console.. my xbox just went rrod on me a couple of hours ago... I didnt play it much anyway so im not that emotionally distressed...
I disagree, I think you bought the 360 for the dvd player. You dont have to put the ps3 down because it has an advance drive.
