No Socom can replace Socom 1 and 2, those were the best ones ever, Confrontation was good after they fixed the bugs, but its still no Socom 1 or 2.
"Its 18 for a reason" yeah I agree with that, thats why most of the time I end up just in party chat with friends. The only bad thing is when you want to play SND or a mode that forces you into game chat. Rarely do you get people that are actually nice and dont talk crap all the time, but most of the time its kids screaming in the mic, music playing, or just really bad trash talkers, so I end up muting the entire lobby.
It should have always been a 2 year cycle, its pretty much like a Madden game, where they give us like a few new little things, but overral its the same game.
Giving them 2 years would easily allow them to make some really big changes, give the players some more DLC in between and make better games.
BUT, the way COD is selling, its making them WAY too much money for them to think about switching to a 2 year development time
Well the bugs and all are problems, but these past games have been a lot of the same, they add something a little new like BO's currency system and wager matches but its mostly the same, they need to give us a brand new game with a brand new engine.
Im really not interested in Bulletstorm, it looks neat but its not for me.
Hopefully this isnt the only way to get in, but it probably will be
Its a fun game to me, but its just getting stale now.
I really think they need to make a new engine, and take another leap, take another risk like they did with COD4, taking it into the modern era.
The engine they are using, though it looks good, is gonna really show its age with all these great looking games coming out like KZ3, Gears 3, and so on.
Next game better be something totally new, or atleast as different as COD4 was to the other COD's...
I totally agree. They just went a little too realistic, not really any over the top missions like gta SA or the other ones had.
Though they were going in the right direction with The Ballad of Gay Tony, that was more fun than the entire GTA IV game.
Now that they know they can make a lot of money without GTA, maybe they will continue making original games like Red Dead Redemption and stuff. Though I still would like a GTA before 2012.
LA Noire is probably gonna be really great too, i wonder what else they have in production
If you want a great single player game that you can play through several times, then yes its definitely worth a buy.
Especially considering it comes with all the DLC.

Why would you get rid of your Wii? It still has great games coming out for it. And even if the next gen consoles come out I dont see a reason to sell it.
I still have my PS1, fat PS2 and N64 and several other old consoles I never sold any of my consoles.
Im sure like all the 3 companies, they havent shown off all their 2011 games.
Though I don't think Nintendo is going to announce anything we havent already seen, I see next year for Nintendo being mostly focused on the 3DS.

If they actually had a little more gaming elements put into it, and not have crap bands like My Chemical Romance.
Though I did like how they had the song from RDR on there, that and the reveals were like the only good parts of the show.
The reveals are the only reason people watch it, mainly because its just a glorified version of what ever...

Was a really fun game to play, LOVED the black and white, especially when the really red blood was going all over the place, really made it look cool.
I dont think it did too well because it was an M rated game on the Wii, and generally those dont do that well, unless its COD or Goldeneye.

I'd like to see what they could do with a multiplayer in mass effect, but it really doesn't need it, and it really doesn't need co-op either.
But would it be a nice added bonus? Yes, so as long as it doesnt make them sacrifice some of the great single player.

I really don't see the point in announcing games so early, years before they come out. They have nothing to really show other than a title and some little teaser.
The game could turn into one of the MANY games that end up dying and never really ever getting out of development
Borderlands I feel was perceived really well. But Alan Wake came out and really wasnt talked about by many people or anything, it just flew under everyones radar so to speak.
It is a pretty good game
There is a possibility for Socom 4 and KZ3 to have good move support. Socom 4 devs seems to have focused a good amount of time on trying to get the Move to work good with the game, since thats like the first thing they showed off when showing the game first. And KZ3 should be fine
