When I first saw that the $60 price tag for games of this generation I was surprised and kind of mad.
I still hate paying for $60 games that sometimes can be crap or really good. Another thing I hate, is when I buy a $60 game, only to have it drop by like $20 in a matter of a few weeks.

theres some games that can be tough, but yeah for the most part you're right. Most games today are incredibly easy, and when you die, you dont have a certain number of lives, you just respawn and retry right where you left off.
I remember when it was a challenge to figure out puzzles in adventure games and having to really figure out how to do something.

Single player won't ever be ditched. Games like Bioshock, and Elder Scroll games thrive on single player. Obviously the stories and stuff isn't for everyone but theres still tons of people who love the single player portion of games.

I usually like to finish games, unless they are really bad, gameplay or story wise, or just all around boring.
If its a really long game like say a GTA or Oblivion or Fallout, I usually take a long time to beat it cause of me messing around and exploring.

dang, he said it would take about 18 months to reach that 150, surely some will make it sooner, but that surely gives more time to play, though it wasnt so fast getting to just level 50 as well.
I like how they have improved the physics and handling of the cars, that may have been my only gripe with forza, but from gameplay they've shown it looks like they've really improved it.

No way. Sure tons play MP games, but theres still a huge group of gamers that love single player games. Games that are single player only, like the Elder Scroll games still sell really well.
You do see a lot of Multiplayer games, but most still have a pretty good single player, look at Battlefield 3, and even Call Of duty still has a Single player that the devs care about and people like.

Halo and Gears are still great, and they should keep doing them (as long as the games are of good quality and not how COD makes their games every year with crap quality)
But yeah they definitely do need more than just Gears and Halo and Kinect. There still hasnt been anything big for Kinect yet that would make me want to go out and buy one

Sounds like they are really going all out with this one, all those Rival challenges sound really fun, glad they increased the Level cap to 150, and they say they want to have 1% of players to 150 in 24 months, I say bring it on.
