Why even boast this when it cuts performance in half in lots of the gameplay?

On this, I agree. It looks epic to fight in first person view but there's only 2 buttons when fighting. It's basic and boring though.

I was literally gonna purchase this today.
The absence of microtransactions is the reason games from PS2, Xbox and gamecube days had more hours of gameplay. They put everything in the games and didn't milk us.
