I didn't buy it for the hype...
I like the leveling system, the challenges and basically the "exp" popup :P
I'm running i7 860 stock speed, XFX 5850 BE, 4GB G.skill 1600MHz RAM, OCZ Vertex 2 60GB SSD and I still had issues with lag... or more like 5 second freeze.
Looking at my cpu usage while playing single player, it didn't get above 40% while a single core hit 70%
The sp did not have the 5 second freezing though... It's dfntly the netcode that screws the game up. The multiplayer is far from a finished product... especially the server browser.

How's that exactly?
I doubt hardcore fans would exploit and glitch the game on purpose just to complain like that.
The more hardcore fans are probably the ones he said were constructive in their posts.
You can't really compare an exclusive game to a multiplat.
I mean, of course you can, but when it comes to bugs and glitches, then no.
Yes, I have been raging about issues on the PC version. Raging on Steam for delaying it another 7 hours, raging about not being able to join as party or even form a party... the game is no way finished, but this is still not the correct comparison.
Just like Linux users never leave their basement, right?
I mean come on...
I know it's stupid that you can't cancel the auto-renew function in every country. I can't do it in Denmark either, but I've had no problem calling the support and making them do it for me. It takes less than 2 minutes to do it, and I've done it twice so far.
Some of you are complaining about having to go through a lot of bullsh!t in order to cancel your subscription/auto-renew feature, but the truth is, it's not difficult at all... You just want something to c...
The MK everyone has been waiting for is on the stairs \o/
This deserves a medal... made me lol a little inside :D
Leave this stuff on the forum, where people actually are meant to debate and discuss games and share opinions.
Just sayin'.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't "N4G" stand for "News For Gamers"?
How is this article or whatever in any shape or form NEWS to anyone?
Why do... blogs get to be posted on this site?
Either way, Blizzard did it once again. Thank God that people support and buy Blizzard games. They're pretty much the only developer who create games for PC only and still manage to stay alive and get a ton of cash home.
Blizzard pretty much prove that the PC gaming industry isn't dead... it just needs games worth buying :D
And by "worth buying", I mean optimized and hardware friendly games, not to mention a great multiplayer experience, which keeps a game al...
I tried the demo on the 360 first, and I kind of hated it... it felt laggy, the graphics were poor compared to what I've seen during this year and even in 2009. Before finishing the demo, I shut it down.
Later that same day, I was talking to a friend on Steam, and he thought that the demo was awesome. I asked him what platform he tried it on, and he said the PC.
Usually the two of us have the same opinion about games, we both own a PS3, X360 and a gaming PC, so I figured I...
Even though I wasn't positively blown away, I still think it's an interesting piece of hardware. Many of you shouldn't be so shortsighted. I think it's impressive what's possible to deliver to the consumers at their own home. Much of what MS showed with Kinect wasn't really needed at all, but you weren't running a marathon at the age of 2 either, were you? Small steps to begin with like this might be necessary. Have faith and hope for a future with even more advanc...
God of War 3 better have ghostly boobs and babies crawling out of nipples or I won't play it :(((
They probably did, but they also probably didn't save at every spot and then tried loading and playing from that point.
I got past that place on my first sitting, so I guess I'm luckier than some other people. Only thing that frustrates me about the game is how you can fall off some places and at other places there are just invisible walls. Oh, and I wouldn't mind some more checkpoints. Other than that, the game is quite fun. I'm no God of War fan, but for those who are, this is probabl...
@18.1
I'll give it another try once I'm done with Prototype. :3
@18.2
As I said... it was the beta, the character comes fully upgraded... or that's what I saw when I checked the powerups list, where everything was upgraded.
I've tried the inFAMOUS beta... it was fun climbing around and stuff... shooting people with lightning from a distance was quite fun... until I realized that I was fully upgraded. I felt SO weak for a fully upgraded character.
Prototype in the other hand, was just what I wanted... It's somewhat the next Crackdown I was looking for.
I've only played 20 minutes of both, but I might give inFAMOUS another chance.
Ret trist ;(
It's not any worse than dying to a stab in the knee when you just shot the guy in the chest twice..
