They could be developing something else asides from a FPS. Like developers use to do...
@JBSleek
I'm not overly concerned w/ how much publishers make. I know it's weird, but it's true. Marketing does wonders.
No phone or tablet will phase out a console ever in all eternity.
FF7 is not rubbish.
Again?
It isn't any less stupid today.
Reality Check: Too many games are FPSs and that is ruining gaming (for me at least).
Articals just get more and more ridiculous every day.
I always think these articals are written by crazy Nintendo fanboys. Technology has grown a lot, the difference will be substantial and that all good... Nintendo did fine this gen being far behind technologically.
Nintendo should just release them. Most people will buy it or not buy it regardless of the specs. I'm going to buy it, cause I love gaming and want all the systems so no great games pass me by.
Does anyone find it a coincidence that this is the longest generation ever?
Playstation.
This the kinda of news that should reach 1000 degrees. Not the daily what's better than what artical.
The movie industry was thriving, then it lost its integrity. Now look at it. The music industry was thriving, then it lost its integrity. Now look at it. It all starts w/ the same line "they're making money". Deals w/ the devil, don't always turn out as expected.... When gaming as we know it is gone, I hope you'll feel just as happy for these companies and how much they make destroying what you love. A great example would be gaming journalism, they're slowly poisonin...
Because the "core" gamer will sustain the gaming industry and try to keep forcing them to maintain integrity. The non-gamer will force them to make games easier, only to part ways and move on to the next fad. Short term money is nice, Long term money is the best.
I don't. I think you guys are going in the completely wrong direction. You began trying to be the most hardcore and you now aspire to please "non-gamers". Why these companies are putting their faith in "non-gamers" in the long run is beyond me.
I always laugh a little when people act like Demon/Dark Souls aren't hard or challenging. I've been playing games since every game was next to impossible, Demon/Dark Souls aren't easy games.
Demon/Dark Souls has great bosses. The problem w/ a lot of current games is the are too streamlined and too easy. When the challenge is gone, don't expect victory to taste so sweet. This goes for anything in life.
Why do people keep asking if its too soon? This is the longest generation ever since gaming consoles were released.
We are overdue.
Personally I don't think you should buy anything you haven't seen what it is. For example I have ZERO interest in the "Close Quarters Pack", but I play BF3 all the time. Pre-ordering games is one thing, pre-buying content is another.
They already have, as they parted ways w/ Zipper.
Media Molecule, Suckerpunch, Team Ico, Naughty Dog, Polyphony Digital and SSM aren't going to be scaled back at all. That list BTW, is why PS is always my 1st system of choice.
I don't speak for other people. I speak for my self. Why would you assume I was speaking for other people?
