I would more say they give average big budget games great scores. It`s the nature of the beast.
Generations are determined by console cycles, NOT power.
Is anyone actually surprised? The Wii was the exact same situation and was Nintendo best selling console by far. Nintendo obviously feels that what they did worked well enough to try it again. If making money is their objective, you can't really blame them. The only real question is.... can they do it again?
Personal the next platform I'll be buying is the PS Vita followed by the Wii U.
Yes Infamous 2 has an install, it is 1.3 GB/1300 MB. But yes, most PS3 exclusive games don't have massive installs.
"its like this;
pc version sitting high atop the tallest mountain
then wii u way down in the small foothills, then 360 close by in the scrub brush, then ps3 way down in the swamp
this trend will continue
*felt like a topographical analogy
**@jjank above, no game is ever ported from 360 to pc, or from any console, all games are made on pc then ported to consoles, even halo 4, uncharted 3 ect are all made ...
I think your missing the point, connecting to the internet is basically standard for a current device. If anything this Wii is for someone's Canadian grandmother way up north who lives in the boonies and has no internet connection. It will go on the milk crate, right next to the deer heads and shotguns.....
It doesn't change a thing. Next month, 3 months from now, a year from now we will see something saying MGS4 is coming to the 360. Just like we will see somthing about a FF7 remake, an Apple console and something about how Shenmue is being made for exclusively for one system or another. MGS4 coming to the 360 is just the biggest one out of all the things I just mentioned. It causes instant tension round here. Always has, alway will.
Arkane Studios made Dishonored.
ES4 came out in 2006, ES5 came out in 2011. The milk would be curdled.
Digital cowards.
1. Dishonored is made by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda.
2. Skyrim FAR exceeded Bethesda's expectations aswell.
Aside from being slower to load up, I find it much better and easier to navigate.
Alot of people do entirely enjoy playing COD..... I'm just not one of them. But those who do, do your thing.
Elaborate. For someone who liked the ideas, I find it hard to see how that could reach disappointment. There is 20 ways to approach any situation in that game and the game is literally about exploring those ideas. The only thing I didn't like about the game was how easy it was after getting the "stop time" power.
I have a Wii that I only use for Netflix.
I own almost every system ever made, which will include the Wii U once they sort out some of the issues I have w/ it. I dont even understand how you even came to the conclusion I'm knocking the Wii U. I'm not at all. As of right now, the games DON'T look better than their other console counterparts. Including games made from the ground up for the Wii U, like Mario Bros U and Zombie U.
They should probably just worry about on ironing out some of the issues w/ the Wii U. MS and Sony are going to try to make your system appear to be super outdated and obsolete, I can promise you that. If they succeed or not, is the question.
My whole new mission is to only play fun games. Gaming has gotten way to serious and borderline sadistic and I'm starting to hate those types of games.
They would be stupid not to.
I think the Wii U will sell lots and Nintendo doesn't have anything to worry about. BUT, I don't think it`ll sell as well as the Wii did for them.
