If true, it's not enough difference in pricing. The subscription model should be like $100-$150, with the remaining being a higher or longer monthly payment. All in all, I'm not sure this concept is even a good idea.

My decryption......... You'll probably be able to get a PS4 and BF4 for around $500-$600 in October or November. So spending $500 to play BF3 seems kinda stupid.
Any game (not MP only, w/ the exception of BF4 because I only play the MP) or system that forces you to be online will NOT be making it's way into my home. As long as everyone follows suit and doesn't just "deal with it" the concept will be driven back to the gates of hell.
