How people make skipping the usual big conference for your newly released system sound so casual, is beyond me. This is the first real E3 for the Wii U. If Nintendo doesn't have much confidence in the Wii U (to give it is routine coming out party), why should anybody?
Not attending E3 due to the circumstances, is a bad idea. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just trying to make themselves feel better about it. The mind is a tricky place, don't let it get the best of you.
E3 is an Electronics show. Hence E3 2013.

If so, it's logo should be the All Seeing Eye and it should require retinal scans every 10 mins to keep watching Tv or playing games.

I agree, but lets be real about something. EA is doing it, Blizzard did it, Ubisoft seems to doing it. These are 3 MASSIVE companies, who don't seem to care what people think.
The controllers changing the screen setup on split screen is pure genius.
If Sony made a Socom 2 Remake (Not just HD, a REMAKE) for the PS4, Socom would be very alive. Zipper/Sony made too many mistakes with Socom this gen.
1. Slant6 had no right to handle such a huge franchises first outing on PS3.
2. Zipper should have made a Socom before Mag.
3. Mag should have stayed in development for longer.
4. Socom 4 should have just been a Socom game.
All of this will be forgiven if Sony can assemble the remainin...

I wouldn't say people wanting games to play for their system falls under entitled.
There already is a do everything box, it's called 'The Computer". Plus, playing online and accessing Netflix and other thing you own is free. Not for me, but it's an option.
If breaking into mass market made things better for gamers, The Wii would have been the best system to own, the Wii U would be a powerhouse, Kinect would have changed your life and Call Of Duty would be the best game you've ever seen. Gaming is a beautiful thing, if you don't stop and look around every once and a while.... you might miss it.
