You're not sure how they made this mistake? Consider MS has been better at making mistakes, than talking about their console consistently this gen. It's not surprising at all.
Kinda like when they used Killzone SF to advertises the Xbox One. The Xbox division is ran so sloppily, its not even funny. Which is why all the advertisements in the world can't help them outsell a Playstation, even w/ a year head start.

No. People said the PS4 has offers more for less which it does and people said it won't outsell the PS4, which it won't (like always). Maybe.. it's Sony fanboys buying the Xbox One, they seem to be responsible for everything lately.
Microsoft has never outsold a Playstation platform, this generation won't be any different. They had a great circumstance w/ the 360 to do it and didn't, the circumstances this time are very different all in favor of the PS4. It makes some people angry, but it doesn't stop it from being true.
Simple. For me, Destiny. Destiny is a FPS RPG set in space driven by co-op. Titanfall is COD w/ mechs. Plus, Destiny looks great. The direct feed Titanfall screens looked like garbage.

When Evo studios first showed Motorstorm it didn't look great, it came out and looked amazing. Pacific Rift was first shown and it didn't look great, it came out and looked amazing. I have zero doubt Driveclub will be any different. KZ2 was the same situation.
