They should have launched in NA & EU first, the launch line up is better suited for them.

Understatement.
It WILL release by and probably right for Xmas. The Wii was the "hot item" for xmas when it released, I'd imagine Nintendo wants to try to repeat that.
I think the big problem w/ the name is they named every accessory for the Wii the Wii_______. (Ex. Wiimote, WiiFit, Wiisports) The WiiU to the non-informed gamer sounds like just another accessory or game.
They have 20+ internal studios, they could handle all of them in reality. Plus if the Vita is intergrated into the PS4, it could help sell both.
PS4 will be announce this year and released next year. Its will have been 7 years since the PS3 launch by then, every previous gen has been 5 years. I'm excited. I imagine the PS4 will launch (window) w/ Uncharted 4 and whatever Media Molecule is working on.
Finally some people w/ some common sense arrived. Alan Wake was a great game and doesn't deserve this.
OK.... Ill just reverse my comment a bit. I'm glad it stayed a 360 exclusive. This the best thing ever that one of the best 360 titles is becoming a episodic D/L title, this the route all developers should go. I hope 4za becomes episodic D/L title aswell in the future, it would be the best thing for the series in the long run. Game are better and more fulfilling in small portions. They should just cancel the PC version cause it won't sell and PS3 gamers would hate this game.

LOL. No. Alan Wake is one of the 360s premier titles. Alan Wake should have been released for the PC, 360 and PS3 at the same time, NOT reduced to a D/L title. Its sad if you ask me, its definitely NOT a good thing. Personally this is one title I believe would have sold better on the PC/PS3 than the 360.

To tell the truth, in the end it would help the industry. All companies are losing lots of $$$ which can be put back into resources from weasel companies like Gamestop (who rip you off BTW). I think what they should do is kill used games and release games cheaper, like $39.99.
