It isn't needed nor is Blu-Ray an advantage, we can have the same content cheaper. The only advantage of blu-ray is HD movies, and I can watch those without Blu-Ray or HD-DVD, it is calle Xbox Live Video marketplace.
Proof they don't even have a publisher, so that means it exclusive rights have not been determined. It was announced for the 360 awhile back, so i highly doubt it will be exclusive.

Sucks anyway, thier support went to hell. HP is the way to go. Beside I have an HP laptop with the $100 HD-DVD drive on order, the cheapest HD drive around. The blu-ray pc drives cost around $600. There is no way Blu-Ray will win, HD-DVD should already be considered the winner, because they have dominated all year, and continue to further the gap with the 360 add-on. Blue Dragon is released NOW! I will have it in January, when wil you have Lair? Beside RR7 isn't a graphical showcase anyway, it doesn't even look as good as PGR3. Lair probably won't be 1080p when it is released when it can;t even run NBA 2k7 at a decent framerate at 1080p.

First 1080p game and it isn't basketball or tennis. It is a georgeous game that will actually tax the hardware. LOL The PS3 is weak. The first real next-gen game running in 1080p and it is on the 360, and it is a killer app. Has anyone seen the water effects in this game? By far the best I've seen beside in gears of war.
And it will never show any superiority. Hell it can't even run NBA 2k7 at 1080p at an acceptable framerate, yet the 360 doesn't have framerate issues with that game, same with THP8 and Call of Duty 3 and Rainbow 6: Vegas. They may look the same but they sure as hell don't run the same. The 360 PWNS and will for the rest of this generation. They already have the best looking game on any platform, drum roll please: GEARS OF WAR
