A franchise is only milked when a corporation decides to spew out a game last minute. Take Gears of War Judgement and/or Black Ops 2; these two are just game that haven't undergone really any thought and planning. But hey, who didn't see that one coming? Anyways though, Halo 4 has been a planned title. Fans have seen it coming since, hell, fives years ago today!
I'm assuming the plot of the third mission is revolved around that hardlight Forerunner power station where Master Chief has to somehow send out a signal in order to alert outside forces of his presence on Requiem. Very, very dark and futuristic vibe I'm getting out of this so far. This game will be incredible.

2013 should be reserved for several more seasons of Spartan Ops content in H4, with 2014 leaving room for Halo 2 Anniversary, and finally Halo 5 in 2015. That gives them 3 more years to work on the next Halo title! It just makes so much sense. I wouldn't mind waiting until then so long as they keep the content going for Halo 4 and release an anniversary edition for Halo 2. Who hasn't asked for that anyways?
