They should be adding future maps for free. That is how you warrant the $60 price and keep fans staying with your product since it is multi-player only.
I'm not sure why they want to go this route for a videogame. A director for a movie will use various formats because they want a wide panoramic view which does create an art form on screen. But you have to remember that directors are thinking of the audience in the theater where the screen is naturally wide. On home screens I don't think that transfers very well for videogames. People want all the real estate they can get to create that immersion. I fear the black bars will take away ...
Respect? Does that really exist anymore? I suggest this to the team behind the game, start filtering out the lunatics out there. You know who you are.
The game is getting a ton of hype and when that happens comes a wave of those who are either sick of the hype so they try and downplay, or worse are the folks who want it to fail. Likely because either they hate mainstream products like this or they don't like the platforms the game is on or isn't on.
This is what I learned, Nintendo will continue to apologize for the lack of software. All while not being able to do anything about because they think internally.
It's about money. Always will be. TLoU was a hit so of course they will continue with it even if the story ended.
I'm not bothered by sequels (or prequels), what does get on my nerves is how the gaming industry is so secretive. Even if the PS4 version is in development they won't tell us.
My PS3 will be getting lots of use. Haven't played any Persona games before but I have heard great things.
They ruined the game. The first one was addictive and enjoyable. I got the second one and it was filled with the dreaded pay to play model which takes away the whole nature of playing games and that is being rewarded for your playing by unlocking items and progressing.
It is in Microsoft's best interest to keep PC gaming relevant and this game will not be on Steam (Valve is trying to push Linux instead of Windows). Home computers are on the decline and Microsoft Windows is still their bread and butter. Even though they likely won't get revenue from PC software sales most PC gamers still use Windows as their main operating system.
Suggesting this could be their last throw of the dice kinda of shows the way journalism has gone south....
If you look at it from a purely numbers perspective on the gaming communities it's very evident this site is largely made up of Sony fans and has been that way for years. The activity in the forums dedicated on game platforms is a good start for proof of that. How is it possible the PS3/PS4 forums make up double that of all other platforms combined? This is including Wii, PC, XBOX and mobile. Twice the activity is just in the PS3/PS4 forums. That says it all right there. The PS3/PS4 does ...
Thanks for the suggestions but I don't have Vita and i'm not much into handheld devices. I hardly ever used my PSP. Is Persona 4: Arena the only game available on the PS3? I also want to get into the Disgaea games.
styferion,
thanks as well.
