Hard disagree. OG Silent Hill still holds up as one of the freakiest games I have ever played and still scares the hell out of me. Tons of Indie Horror games use ps1 style graphics and are surprisingly scary. It's all about atmosphere and the ambient sounds. Ps2 definitely amped everything up. Siren, Silent Hill 2, Haunting Grounds, Rule of Rose, were all fantastic Ps2 horror games and still make me poop my pants
xbox has always been a CoD and/or FPS machine. When Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon came out on the 360, they didn't sell nearly as much as they should have. Lost Odyssey deserves to come back and be remastered because it was highly looked over and is still an amazing game to this day. Western gamers that own an xbox don't play JRPG's or RPG's often and it's been shown to be that way through the xbox's lifetime.
I came here looking for this comment :D
I pointed this out on a previous article. I said the graphics were probably no where near complete to the final result.
Idk why people are comparing games to each other when this one was just showcased for the reveal. It's obviously an early build they're working on so of course it's not gonna look top notch at this time. At least it's not like the Halo reveal. That was just disappointing.
I think the only reason it was so "groundbreaking" at the time was because the requirements for the game were massive. Other than that, it was just a generic, but very pretty, FPS
Also I'm not using the Online ones in this scenario either.
They finally put Fantasy back in Final Fantasy and I'm here for it. Last time we had a main entry in the FF series with a fantasy world was XII, and that was during the PS2 days. Wow, it's really been that long.
It said also available on PC
You were correct as were many others. I do really like the price points and the different versions available at launch as well.
IDK about that. The halo reveal was pretty damn bad.
All I see are current gen games being named lol
Can one of them be to listen to my problems while I cry?
Called it
Not all games need to be riddled with nostalgia to be great. Fixed cameras in games might be a bit terrifying sometimes, but First Person can be just as good, and even better. The cancelled silent hill game by Kojima proved that.
I just want a remastered MW2 Multiplayer ):
Looks like a small fridge
-Insert Michael Jackson eating popcorn here-
How is this bad? Soul Calibur did the same thing with exclusive characters yeeears ago. Darth Vader, Yoda, and Link were all on different versions of the game.
Im assuming you watch Wilburgr's youtube videos judging by that wowee :o
