if you look at the MS article, MS promised a lot and delived on almost all of them.

Halo 3
Killzone 2
Metal Gear Solid 4
These are all considered triple A titles, they are usually tied to well established I.P.'s or sequels.
Think of them as Summer Blockbuster movies that everyone is pumped to watch.

This game is gonna be super awesome...but I really can't see it going the distance especially when KOF 2002 UM drops.
The graphics will be horrendous but the roster is HUGE compared to KOF 12.
Why would you need a clan mode for a fighting game?
Well besides that I will be picking it up for 360. All my fighting friends are on the 360.
Then I will Gamefly it for my PS3, that way I can kick ass across both platforms like how I kick ass cross platform for SF4!

The PS3 got Valkyria Chronicles, that kind of favor is the only favor PS3 needs from Sega.
