People who dismiss the Wii are only fooling themselves. The Wii has kicked both PS3 and 360's arse!
And they did it with no HD, no blu-ray and damn near no games(IMO).
They kicked Sony/MS butts so hard that both companies had no choice but to copy and try and steal Nintendo's market share away.

I disagree, I think 3rd party is super essential.
3rd party makes up more than 90% of the bulk for consoles. MS knows this and it's probably the reason why they got rid of a lot of their 1st party devs.
It didn't make sense to spend $$$$ on a lot of 1st party devs for hit or miss titles.
Also 1st party alone cannot save your console, just take a look at Dreamcast. All of their 3rd party support bailed on them and they had to bow out the console game.
Seriously? Will they please just make one for PS3!
I would love to see an open world detective story using the game play of Heavy Rain.
A story in the same way as The Big Sleep or The Maltese Falcon.

Reading through the comments I can already see the hypocrisy of certain fanboys who beat the "Its not exclusive if it's on the PC/360" to death.
But when we compare a PC game to PS3 all I read is...
"But..but it's great for a console!"
"But Crisis only works on maxed out PC's!!"
"But Crisis is for PC not console!"
I won't name names..they know who they are.
But what about the PC, the graphics for a PC blows everything the PS3 has out the water.
I think MS has a different stand on 1st party devs. In the long run all of their 3rd party multi games have made big sales on the 360.
It doesn't makes sense for them to spend money on more 1st party devs.
And why does that matter?
Actually the wand can support more than 4 colors. He was wrong about that and he cleared it up in his next post.
That's a shame then, Sony should have never released it.

I have to agree,
MS has already seen profits for their 360 even after the damn RROD issue.
And even if the 360 isn't doing well in Japan it's still doing the best in the number one consumer nation in the world...North America!
